Medics race to Glasgow Airport to treat six passengers on Turkey flight

Six passengers took ill on a Thomas Cook flight into Glasgow.

The aircraft landed in Glasgow International Airport at around 1.25pm today.

Medics raced to the scene and treated all the patients on the plane which had flown from Turkey.

It's believed nobody on the plane could get off for around an hour.

A Glasgow Airport spokesman said: "Six passengers felt unwell on a flight that had landed at 1.25pm.

"Medical teams attended and the customers were assessed.

"They were then allowed to continue home."

Thomas Cook confirmed that they followed protocol.
