Media Talk: Tim Davie, another Chris Moyles rant, and Seven Days

Matt Wells is joined in the studio by Jane Martinson and Maggie Brown for your weekly fix of Media Talk.

We begin by hearing from Tim Davie, the BBC's director of audio and music, who gives us his thoughts on that Chris Moyles rant and those Sarah Kennedy rumours. Davie is also the chair of this year's Radio Festival, which takes place in Salford in mid-October (and will feature a special live, on-stage session from your favourite podcasters). If you haven't yet got your ticket, there are more details on the Radio Academy's website.

Also in the podcast, we review Channel 4's new reality TV series. Were you gripped by Seven Days?

Plus, we wonder quite why Facebook's Mark Zuckerburg has overtaken Rupert Murdoch on the Forbes rich list.

Finally, we look at Jana Bennett's plans to inject a bit of magic back into Saturday nights on BBC1.
