Media Talk: The Channel 5 'bloodbath'

Matt Wells returns to the Media Talk presenter's chair, and this week he's joined in the studio by John Plunkett and Josh Halliday.

We begin with the "bloodbath" at Channel 5. Richard Desmond has started implementing his cost-cutting plans by axing seven members of his board. Who's next? Maggie Brown gives her thoughts.

Also in the podcast, with Channel 4 actively seeking disabled presenters to front its coverage of the Paralympics in 2012 – we hear from Channel 4 News technology correspondent Benjamin Cohen about being on-screen with multiple sclerosis.

Plus, The One Show's new gruesome twosome get set for their debut – hopefully the BBC will update the website before Monday's launch – and the producers of Sherlock confirm a second series is on its way.
