Media Talk: Clay Shirky on Google, China, and all things internet

We're back in the studio for this week's Media Talk, and Matt Wells is joined by Emily Bell and internet guru Clay Shirky to analyse the widening rift between Google and China, as well as online business models and information overload.

Also in the podcast, we discuss the Daily Telegraph's success after it cleaned up at the British Press Awards; Carolyn McCall's decision to easyJet off from Guardian Media Group; and – at last – a conclusion to Alexander Lebedev's protracted purchase of the Independent.

Finally, we give Stephen Brook the send-off he deserves – for this is officially his last show – with a special mystery guest and a round-up of his best bits. Have your hankies at the ready.

Have your say on all of our various witterings on the blog below, and if you want to start a protest group demanding that Brooky stay, start one onFacebook and spread the word through Twitter.
