Media Talk: BBC hit in licence fee freeze

This week, the podcast comes live from the Radio Festival in Salford. Matt Wells is joined on stage by Maggie Brown, Paul Robinson and former BBC executive Matthew Bannister to discuss the implications of the BBC's deal with the government over licence fee, which has been frozen for six years after 72 hours of behind-closed-doors negotiations.

Also in the podcast, we ponder once again the wisdom of Radio 5 Live's move to Salford, as well as the continuing disagreement in the radio industry about the viability of DAB as the platform of the future.
