It's the last one before Christmas, but podfans, there's still one to go before the end of the year. But Ofcom wasn't in festive mood when it came to Channel 4 and GMTV this week, with whopping fines for each of them. C4 biographer Maggie Brown says the broadcaster must now hope to draw a line under its terrible 25th year, while columnist Steve Hewlett reckons ITV executives are sweating over the regulator's decision to delve deeper into the murky world of X Factor voting.
Also on the show this week, we discuss Danny Baker's decision to pull the plug on his popular paid-for podcasts amid an acrimonious dispute with the host, Wippit. And we're onto the row at Radio 1 over those Pogues lyrics.
Finally, it wouldn't be Christmas without television - Maggie is armed with a copy of the TV Times and highlighter pen to give us her top choices.
Don't forget to join us next week for our review of the year - perhaps you'll have a shiny new iPod Touch on which to listen. (Other mp3 players are available.) Merry Christmas!
