Medal hopeful out with injury at World Athletics Championships

  • Caudery's withdrawal was particularly disappointing as she was ranked fourth and had aimed for redemption after a poor Olympic debut.
  • Cairess described the conditions as “very, very humid” and “too hot”, despite his efforts to prepare and use cooling stations during the race.
