Mecole Hardman upset with himself after he runs blazing 40 yard dash

Most players at the NFL Combine would be happy with a 4.34 second 40 yard dash, but that’s not the case for former Georgia Bulldog Mecole Hardman. Hardman’s run left him .02 seconds behind the fastest time of any WR.

It’s still a good time for Hardman. Expect him to run a better time at his pro day as most players do. A 4.3 time raises Hardman’s NFL draft stock and cements the perception that he’ll continue to be a deep threat in the NFL.

Hardman also put up an impressive 17 reps of 225 lbs for the bench press. That’s elite explosiveness for a 187 lb athlete.
