A Meathman has set off on a gruelling 600km cycle from one end of the country to the other - literally - as he looks to raise vital funds for charity.
Eamonn Hogan, from Ashbourne, kicked off his mammoth journey on Monday morning.
He travelled just under 150 kilometres from Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head to Donegal, down to Enniskillen in Fermanagh.
Then, this morning, he left the town in Ulster - with the plan being to undertake another monstrous 150km spin down to Tipperary.
From there, his plan is to undertake his shortest gap on Wednesday, cycling just over 60km from Tipperary to Mallow.
Then, on Thursday he is hoping to finish off the epic run with another 130km or so to Mizen Head, the most southern part of the country in Cork.
He's a keen marathon runner and keeps himself quite fit - and is doing the cycle for to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
He said "I will be doing this cycle to raise much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society. I don’t think there is any family who has not been impacted in some way by cancer."

There's another major milestone while on his journey too, as Eamonn will turn 50 on Wednesday.
We can't think of a better way to celebrate that then going on a lovely long 60km cycle...
