Meath scientist Yewande Biala dumped out of Love Island villa in shock recoupling

Irish stunner Yewande Biala was dumped from Love island tonight, becoming the fifth person to leave.

She joins Joe, Elma, Callum and Sherif in the outside world as the remaining couples battle for the €50,000 prize.

Speaking on Monday night, scientist Yewande, 23, said she didn’t regret a second of her time in the lush villa.

The Meath native said: “It was a rollercoaster of emotions, up and down. I learnt so much about myself. I made amazing friends and I wouldn’t change anything.

“The biggest thing I learnt about myself was that I can open up romantically and I can show a little bit of affection, which is something I struggled with in the past.

“The most challenging aspect is throwing yourself into an environment that you don’t know.

“Every day is different, different personalities and characters, and you’re always guessing what is going to happen.”

The love triangle between Yewande, Michael and Arabella was at the centre of the show on Sunday as the hunky 21-year-old tried to let Yewande down gently.

Asked whether she thought the pair have a future, Yewande said: “Maybe. A bombshell coming in, it’s very hard and it’s difficult to know their intentions.

"I hate it when a bombshell comes in saying ‘I want to get to know everyone’, because that is a lie. You know who you’re going for. She knew she wanted Danny.

“I feel like if he does get to know her, it’s not going to work. There are so many factors – they’re so different, and the age gap.

“You have to be realistic. He’s just starting his life – he’s only 21. They are in two different phases of their lives. In the villa, it’s very easy to forget.”

When it comes to couples that she thinks will last, Yewande has her favourite pair chosen.
