Meath's Emerald Park to officially open in March after rebranding

Emerald Park will officially open on March 25 after a major rebranding.

Ireland's only theme park and zoo was formally known as Tayto Park but was changed after Tayto announced the end of their sponsorship deal last year.

The "emerald" in the new name is a reference to Ireland being called the "Emerald Isle" and is also a nod to Meath's green countryside where the park resides.

The Meath venue has been busy over the past number of weeks with erecting new signage and creating two new junior rides. There have also been some additions to their zoo, which will be unveiled at the opening next month.

General Manager of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle said today: Our new website emeraldpark.ie went live last week and work is underway around the park in preparation for our re-opening!

"It’s a big job to upgrade everything but it’s exciting for the team here at Emerald Park seeing it come together and we look forward to welcoming all of our guests from March 25.’’

To celebrate the new Emerald Park website going live, a reduced ticket rate for the opening weekend (March 25/26) has been launched with an additional 20% saving. All Access tickets pre-booked online are €35 while Junior Zone tickets are €30.
