Thugs have stolen cherished GAA medals belonging to Meath legend Graham Geraghty.
The former footballer's family have made a public plea following the theft at their home in Athboy on Friday night.
The 46-year-old's wife Amanda took to Facebook to say a "lifetime of memories" have been taken.
And the family are offering a "large reward" to anyone who has information about the six missing Leinster Senior Football Championship winning medals.
She said: "They broke into our home on Friday night while our three children were here and stole my husband's six Leinster medals.
"Please return them as they are not worth much in monetary value but it took blood sweat and tears to win these over a period of 11 years.
"A lifetime of memories taken.
"We will gladly give you what the cash for gold shops will give you for them and more."
One minor, two under-21’s and three senior Leinster championship medals were taken.
She added: "We are offering a large reward for anyone who can give us any information about the six Leinster medals that were stolen from our home."
Gardai confirmed to the Irish Mirror they are investigating the burglary but a spokesman said no arrests have been made.
He said: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary that took place at a property in Athboy, Co Meath on Friday 15th November.
"A number of items were taken from the property. No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
