Meat:Stack comes to the city having enjoyed success in Newcastle. The business is known for a menu loaded with beefy treats inspired by one of America’s most iconic creations - going out for a burger.

The new Meat:Stack venue will be based in Bishopgate Street, at the 34 Boar Lane building. Other tenants include Mowgli and The Collective. The burger bar is expected to open this spring.

The venue will seat up to 60 diners and create up to 25 new jobs in Leeds. Meat:Stack partner and director Allan Hyslop is looking forward to getting started in Leeds.

He said: “Since we announced that we will be coming to Leeds, we cannot get over the incredible support we have had in the city. There is such a great food scene here and we cannot wait to be a part of that. Community is everything to us and we hope to be getting involved with as many businesses, creatives and foodie folk as we possibly can once we are open.”

The menu at Meat:Stack will boasts the French Canadian, which comes loaded with streaky bacon, blue cheese, garlic butter, chilli-maple syrup, hash brown, American cheese and signature Stack Sauce.

For the purists the classically American West Coast Classic while there’s also the Turbocharger which is something for those who love fried chicken. This combines chicken tenders, baconnaise, pickled jalapenos, dry cure smoked streaky bacon, hash brown and signature buffalo.

Sides include Pompeii fries and filthy fries. If you have a sweet tooth you can enjoy Jersey shakes which come in flavours such as Nutella, peanut butter and raspberry jam.
