Meat firm JBS paid $11 million ransom after cyberattack hit US operations

The world's biggest meat processor, JBS, paid $11 million in a ransom to hackers who disrupted its operations in North America and Australia last week. The cyberattack is the latest in a string of high-profile incidents involving ransomware. Also today, we look at the decision of Canada's Alberta province and developer TC Energy to definitively scrap the Keystone XL oil pipeline, which would have connected Canada to Nebraska. US President Joe Biden had revoked the project's permit in January.
