Meat-eaters can now get paid £2,000 to turn vegan

For carnivores, the idea of giving up meat and dairy can either sound like a dream or a nightmare.

In theory it's a great idea, but when you realise it'd mean having to abstain from devouring things like chicken, halloumi and milk, all of a sudden the idea doesn't seem so great.

But what if someone were to pay you to give up meat and dairy - would you consider it then?  If the answer is 'yes', you're in luck, because one multivitamin company wants to do just that.

We Are Feel is on the lookout for five people to undergo a three-month study which aims to find out what deficiencies (if any) can occur when you turn to veganism.

The brand also wants to work out how its products can help support these changes.

As well as refraining from consuming animal products, the chosen participants will also be required to take a range of vitamins, which include B12, iron, folate, Iodine, vitamin C and vitamin D.

As part of the three-month study, you'll need to take a weekly blood sample at home, and post it to the company.

Researchers will then measure the results, and assess how well your body copes with switching to a vegan diet, before introducing vitamins which are free from animal products, gluten and allergens.

For your troubles, you'll be paid a generous sum of £2,000.  Applicants will need to be between the ages of 18 and 60, and not have any pre-existing health complications.

To apply you must consume animal products on a regular basis in your current diet.

WeAreFeel's founder, Boris Hodakel said: "The development of our products is the most important thing to us as a business and brand – we’re dedicated to creating quality multivitamins that actually work, and as with all of our products, we’re constantly looking at ways to develop them further.

"Our product has shown incredible benefits for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. However, we wanted to find out just how good it is at fixing some of the common deficiencies caused by a vegan diet.

"These tests have been planned for a while, and after turning vegan recently myself, I can’t wait to see the findings!"
