Meagan Good’s marriage with DeVon Franklin is coming to an end.
The actress and the movie producer, who have been married since 2012, announced late Tuesday that they are divorcing after “much prayer and consideration.”
"We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal,” Good and Franklin said in a statement shared to their Instagram pages.
“There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
The 40-year-old Good, who is one of the leads on the new comedy series “Harlem,” co-authored a bestselling book about finding love titled “The Wait” with Franklin that was released in 2015.
“We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife,” Tuesday’s announcement continued.
“We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”
Good is known for her roles on the NBC drama series “Deception” and in movies such as “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” and DC Comics’ “Shazam.”
The 43-year-old Franklin, meanwhile, is also public speaker whose movies include faith-based projects such as 2016′s “Miracles from Heaven,” which stars Jennifer Garner.
Earlier this month, Franklin celebrated the debut of Good’s “Harlem” series on Amazon Prime Video.
“She’s one of the most talented actors on the planet AND she’s funnier than you may know but I’m so glad you finally get a chance to see her do it all,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
