Liverpool will hope that Dominik Szoboszlai causes plenty of defenders trouble this season following the Hungarian's big-money move from RB Leipzig.
The 22-year-old became Jurgen Klopp's second signing of the summer last week after Alexis Mac Allister, as the German boss attempts to rejuvenate his squad following an underwhelming 2022/2023 campaign at Anfield.
Hopes are high for the midfielder after he enjoyed a prolific season. Szoboszlai scored 10 goals and registered 11 assists across all competitions, while also being involved in 163 Bundesliga open-play shot-ending sequences with only Jude Bellingham, Jamal Musiala and Joshua Kimmich boasting more.

However, it appears that Szoboszlai is the cause of problems before he has even kicked a ball on Merseyside. And it is understandable as to why!
Former Arsenal and England star Paul Merson, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports and has been a fixture of Soccer Saturday for years, is worried about pronouncing Szoboszlai's name given his track record.
Merson tweeted: "Me doing Liverpool games next season" and accompanied a GIF to indicate his nerves.
As previously referred to, Merson has developed an unfortunate reputation for often mispronouncing names in a somewhat comedic fashion. Though, the 55-year-old should not actually be that concerned.
During his time with Salzburg, FIFA released a 'how to pronounce guide' which featured Dominik Szoboszlai.
They say the correct way of saying his name is: Dominik Szoboszlai – Sob-oss-lie
In 2020, Chris Wheatley interviewed Hungarian sports reporter Haraszti Adam who offered a lesson on how to pronounce the midfielder's name.
