McVitie’s unveil Orange and Cranberry flavour for Christmas

Just when the offering of sweet treats couldn’t get any better, McVitie’s are there in the waiting with their Christmas offering that we can’t wait to have a bite of.

Yes, after being alerted in a popular Facebook group, the confectionary company will launch a Jaffa Cake that’s flavoured with Orange and Cranberry - perfect for Christmas, don't you think?

We’re not exactly sure when or which stores they will be launching into but you can expect most. As for the price? That’s also to be confirmed by the brand but we don’t expect them to cost more than a couple of quid.

Fans of the original cakey-delight were quick to tag friends in the post and share the news of a new flavour dropping across the UK soon.

The post has received over 200 reactions, 110 comments and been shared 90 times - so clearly we aren’e the only ones excited their arrival.

One fan said: “Ooo they look nice.”

Another said: “Bet they are beaut.”

A third added: “Oh my god.”

And a fourth quipped: “Gonna be putting weight on at this rate.”

With another fan saying: “Can’t wait, diet or not.”

Some have pointed out that M&S does a similar flavour that tastes “delicious” and even better when it’s “reduced in the January sales.”

Now if you can’t wait to try this, those that love the original taste of a Jaffa Cake will be happy to know that Tesco’s Jaffa Cake, priced at £2 is back in stores.

Fans of the classic afternoon delight are in for a real treat as the supermarket is now stocking a supersized version as a dessert - which is 460g of pure joy.

If you’re looking for more festive treats, Tesco revealed their Christmas range a few weeks ago and it includes giant pigs in blankets. The supermarket’s Christmas food range never fails to get shoppers excited for the festive season and this year is no different.

Asda also unveiled their Christmas 2020 food range includes an adorable Brussel Sprout cake - that’s one way to get your children to eat their sprouts. The supermarket has made sure there’s something for everyone this festive period including a turkey that cooks in one hour to party food that cooks straight from the freezer. Never has hosting become so easy.

Waitrose launched their Christmas 2020 range including show-stopping Chocolate Candles. At least there’s one thing we still have to look forward to in 2020 and that’s Christmas food. And supermarket Waitrose has mouth-watering options we can’t wait to get our hands on.
