McKinsey agrees to $573 million settlement over US opioid crisis, reports say

The global consulting giant McKinsey, which advised opioid maker Purdue Pharma, is set to fork over some $573 million, according to a settlement with 47 US states seen by US media. Also, a long-anticipated economic relief plan moves forward in the US Congress, oil giant Shell reports a steep drop in profits and a skincare firm backed by former footballer David Beckham prepares to go public on the London Stock Exchange.
