A famous Dublin pub was handed a very bizarre request last night.
McGowans in Phibsboro, which has a late bar licence for seven days a week, is always a busy place especially on a Friday or Saturday.
So, the chances of the queues being long and the possibility of getting refused were certainly going to increase on a Saturday night.

But for this one person, they were banking on their company being refused from the bar or else it would have some serious consequences.
They messaged into the nightclub on Saturday night to ask the bouncer if they would "refuse the girl" they were with.
A cruel request at any time but made even worse by the fact that their reasoning behind the message was because their "actual girlfriend is inside."

As you could imagine the response was a flat no from McGowans and the anonymous messenger was ridiculed in comments online.
One person said that the request was pure "lousy" while another commented that the club should have named and shamed the messenger.
It's safe to say that the aftermath of this was lethal and we're awaiting the update.
