'McGinn Tae Them' rallying cry projected onto iconic London landmarks ahead of Scotland v England clash

As the Tartan Army arrives in London ahead of the crucial match against England at Wembley, Tennent’s Lager has lit up some of the city’s most iconic sites with a cheeky rallying call for Steve Clarke’s men.

McGinn Tae Them has been projected onto well-known landmarks to give the team and fans a rise ahead of the vital clash.

The Tate Modern, Shoreditch High Street, Camden Tube Station and Oxford Street were all lit up on Wednesday night with the slogan, which is a play on star midfielder John McGinn's surname and the famous Scottish phrase 'get in tae them', and will be repeated on Thursday ahead of the match on Friday.

Cameron Matthews, Tennent’s Senior Brand Manager said: “It’s been a few years since the Tartan Army had a visit to Wembley, and it’s clearly been a long time since we had a game of this magnitude against the auld enemy.

"When it comes to kick-off, we’ll be right behind the team again and hoping that John and the squad get McGinn tae them from the off!”
