McFly's Tom Fletcher 'spotted in Edinburgh soft play' as he takes in city sights

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher have been snapped in Edinburgh as the family enjoyed some of the city's tourist attractions.

The family of five have been enjoying time in the capital while Giovanna is currently performing at the Festival Theatre in crime fiction play, Which You Were Dead.

The celeb couple went to Camera Obscura with the kids, and Tom admitted he loved it as much as his boys.

One local also claimed to spot the brood at a soft play in Leith.

They took to social media and said: "My pal just met Tom fletcher in a soft play down leith… I’m so jealous."

Taking to social media, Tom wrote: "Awesome day in Edinburgh, started with @camobscura1 which is a MUST DO! The kids (and me!) LOVED it, the highlight being when @mrsgifletcher apologised to herself for bumping into her own reflection in the mirror maze.

"Then onto drop @mrsgifletcher off at the theatre and see where mummy works before stopping by @thecauldronpub for a mysterious afternoon tea."

He added: "Now to settle down and write some of my book while Gi’s on stage and the kids are asleep!"

Camera Obscura also posted a picture of the couple smiling in the popular landmark: “We were visited today by the lovely Tom and Giovanna Fletcher who especially enjoyed our Camera Obscura show! Thanks for coming guys."

Edinburgh locals have also spotted the pair around the city, one commented on their post that they were seen up at Edinburgh Castle.

Giovanna will be performing at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh from April 4 - 8 in Peter James' Wish You Were Dead. Adapted exclusively for the stage, Wish You Were Dead is the latest thrilling instalment of the Grace Series – 'the most successful modern-day crime stage franchise, since Agatha Christie.'

And the other half of the power couple, Strictly star Tom has also been kept busy as McFly released a new song, Where Did All the Guitars Go? ahead of their new album Power to Play.
