McFly announce Newcastle Utilita Arena gig as part of huge comeback tour

McFly are returning to Newcastle.

The chart-toppers will play the Utilita Arena Newcastle on April 27.

The show comes as part of a huge UK tour, announced after the reunited pop group sold out London's 02 Arena in a matter of minutes.

Fans can expect to hear classics such as All About You, Obviously, Star Girl, One for the Radio and Shine a Light.

The group will also be playing tracks off the band's upcoming album, The Lost Songs.

One of Britain's biggest selling music acts of the 21st century, McFly boast even number one singles and 10 million sales worldwide.

They are also the youngest band ever to have a debut album go straight to number one — beating The Beatles’ long-standing record.

Now Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry will head to the North East as part of an 11-date UK jaunt, their first tour in almost a decade.

Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday, September 20, and are available online via ticketmaster.co.uk or AXS.com, in person at the arena box office from 11am, or  from the booking hotline number on 0844 493 6666.

Calls from the latter cost 7p per minute plus your phone company access charge.
