McDonald's worker reveals stressful reason she 'hates' Happy Meal orders

If you've ever worked in retail, you'll know there are a few requests you dread doing but have to grin and bear through. One McDonald's worker has shared the stressful reason as to why she hates serving people Happy Meals at the drive-thru and it all boils down to customers giving the whole order at once, which most people don't do.

Carina Angelina who posts on TikTok as @carina.angelica_ acted out an annoying common customer interaction as she wrote in the caption that she 'hates Happy Meals' followed by a crying emoji. In the demonstrated clip, the 'mum' came to the drive-thru to order three Happy Meals - one with a cheeseburger, one with nuggets and a third with a hamburger, the Mirror reports.

The McDonald's employee explained asking for the above was not enough information to get your order put into the till and said she needed to go back through the order and check the exact types of Happy Meals the kids wanted, rather than just the main part of it.

First, Carina said she would need to clarify whether or not they wanted four or six nuggets with the meal. She then needed to go back through each order and check if the customer wanted fries or apple slices which is time-consuming if the information isn't already given.

Carina also needed to check when drinks were required as a part of the meals. Over the top of the video she wrote: "I can't send your order until everything is checked off."

At the end of the video, Carina seemed exasperated as she emphasised how many times she had go through everything just to put through a Happy Meal order. In the comments, fellow Maccies workers sympathised with her pain as one wrote:" At that point I don't even ask fries or apples, just put fries."

Another fumed: "WHEN THEY START ORDERING ANOTHER ITEM WITHOUT FINISHING THE FIRST!!" Someone else agreed: "I thought it was just me that hates the kid's meal".
