McDonald's turns back clock for return of classic burger for seven weeks only

Fast food chain McDonald's is rolling back the years with the return of its legendary Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

How to order from the secret McDonald's menu

The favourite disappeared from the McDonald's menu 13 years ago, but it will be back from Wednesday - selling at £4.29 or £5.99 as part of a medium meal.

It will include two 100 per cent British and Irish beef burgers with cheese, ketchup, mustard, onions and pickles in a sesame seed bun.

However, you will have to be quick to grab one. They are only on sale in the UK for seven weeks.

The move follows the launch of spicy Chicken McNuggets earlier this week and plans to bring back two famous McFlurries' varieties.

Meanwhile, McDonald's is planning to launch a series of 'To Go' outlets in busy city centres across the country, which will focus on takeaways with no in-store seating.
