A teenager has been arrested after several people were injured in a stabbing in a McDonald's restaurant.
The restaurant in Harpurhey, Manchester was 'swarmed with police' and eyewitness video and pictures show blood on the floor.
The suspect is currently in custody and is due to be questioned by officers. Police say the incident is not linked to terrorism.
Greater Manchester Police said they were called to Harpurhey Shopping Centre on Rochdale Road at around 2.35pm today.
A spokesman said: "Greater Manchester Police is responding to reports of a stabbing in a McDonalds in Harpurhey.
"Police were called at 2.35pm today to the shopping centre on Rochdale Road.
"A cordon is in place and initial inquiries suggest several people have been injured.
"A teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of a section 18 assault and has been taken into custody for questioning.
"A police spokesperson said it was not believed to be a terror attack."

Crime scene investigators are currently working with detectives carrying out enquiries inside the McDonald's restaurant, which is now empty and closed to the public.
Reporters at the scene say some spots of blood can be seen on the floor and the wall of the restaurant.
Images shared on social media show a several police vehicles and an ambulance attending at the scene.
One witness said she saw chaotic scenes at the restaurant immediately after the incident.
DamiLola B Soyoye was visiting the fast food chain earlier this afternoon when she saw “around five or six police cars” arriving at the scene with their sirens blaring and blue lights flashing.
She told the M.E.N: “The staff in the McDonalds said a young man had run in with a knife.
“They said everyone was screaming. It was a bit frantic. I think he ran back out before the police got there.
“I saw two ambulances there but I didn’t see anyone being treated.
“There were about six police cars and two ambulances.
“There were lots of people around and they all looked worried and a bit shocked and confused.
“I just hope nobody has been seriously hurt.”

Diners have shared details of the incident on social media. One tweeted: "Just left Mcdonalds Harpurhey swarmed with police & now blue tape around the place!"
The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) say a male was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg during the attack.
His age is not currently known.
A spokesperson for the service said: “Two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance attended the scene in Harpurhey at around 3.40pm.
“Paramedics took one person to hospital by ambulance - a male patient who has been stabbed in the leg.”
Nobody else was treated at the scene or taken to hospital, NWAS said.
Harpurhey Councillor Pat Karney said he was shocked to hear about the incident.
In a tweet, he said: "Shocked and alarmed yet again to hear of stabbings with young people. Thanks to GMP for speedy response and arrest. Those injured have been seen to. We must take knives off our streets."
