It was the news the UK needed to hear - to much fanfare, McDonald's launched their spicy chicken McNugget's today.
Hardcore fans even queued up for hours to get a sneaky taste preview ahead of their official 10.30am debut as 600 nuggets were given out for free earlier.
Because the only thing better than a chicken McNugget is a SPICY chicken McNugget - especially one that comes with a new Tabasco dip. Right?
Wrong!
Early feedback from those who've sampled the goods shows that fans are pretty nonplussed with McDonald's latest offering.
Another critic wrote: "I can confirm them spicy nuggets taste like s***" and added that there "actually isn't any taste to them".
Twitter suer Nathan dubbed them "the biggest let down of my life", and another person agree, saying they were, "nothing special at all".
Still, there were some fans out there.
At least they're no more expensive than your regular nugget. It will set you back £3.19 for six, £3.49 for nine or £4.99 for the 20 nugget snack box.
It was announced that the limited edition nuggets (they're available for just seven short weeks) followed a specially developed recipe, based on previous versions that have gone on sale in Asia and the US.
In fact, UK fans were deeply jealous of Australian fastfood fans, as the nuggets are a permanent fixture there.
