It was exciting news when McDonald's last week announced it was set to reopen 15 restaurants in the UK.
The fast-food chain, which closed its doors in March due to lockdown, said it would be bringing back a limited menu for delivery next week.
But it remained tight-lipped on the location of stores ready to make a comeback.
Scottish fans had their fingers crossed that a McDonald's would reopen up north.
The chain today unveiled its highly anticipated list of restaurants reopening - and the question on everyone's lips was, 'will one open in Scotland?'
Sadly, Scotland did not make the list and was pipped to the post by restaurants down south.
Scottish fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on nuggets or a Big Mac.
But McDonald's has promised that "slowly, but safely we will return."
The full list of 15 McDonald's stores reopening are:

- Sittingbourne Retail Park
- Gillingham Bowaters
- Tooting
- Dalston
- Welling
- Harrow
- Luton George Street
The stores will be offering a limited menu, and items will only be available to through delivery order via UberEats - not on the McDonald's app for the timebeing.
In a statement to shoppers, Paul Pomroy, head of McDonald's in the UK and Ireland, said: "We are working hard to reopen more restaurants... Slowly, but safely we will return.
"Rest assured, we are working hard to reopen more restaurants, but I am adamant this must be at the right pace with the wellbeing of our employees, suppliers and customers front of mind."
