McDonald's set to launch a chicken burger with two mini garlic naans as the bun

McDonald's is adding an item to the menu that might just blow spicy chicken nuggets out of the water.

The fast food chain is set to sell a new chicken burger with a garlic naan bread bun.

The Mirror reports the burger will feature two of McDonald's classic Chicken Selects, an Indian style relish, garlic mayo, red onion, lettuce and cucumber.

Instead of the traditional sesame seed burger bun there are two mini garlic naans.

Called The Indian Chicken Burger, the new item will be available to order in stores from September 25 until October 22.

It'll cost £4.19 on it's own, or £5.89 as part of a medium meal.

The new burger, which contains 590 calories, is part of the McDonald's Great Tastes of the World promotion, which features flavours from all over the world.

The promotion will see a range of limited edition beef and chicken burgers go on rotation on the menu over the next eight weeks.

As well as the Indian Chicken Burger, the range will include The French Stack, The Canadian Stack with maple BBQ sauce, The Swiss Stack with Emmental Cheese Sauce, The Italian Stack with pesto style mayo and The Jamaican Chicken burger with spicy jerk sauce.

The Great Tastes range will be able to purchase in one of McDonald's UK restaurants or you can order for delivery to your home.
