Breakfast, Chicken Mayo sandwiches and milkshakes are set to return to the McDonald's menu this month.
The fast food chain has been gradually reopening for takeaway, drive-thru and delivery customers since shutting all its UK restaurants more than 100 days ago.
Customers can only choose from a restricted menu as there are limitations in place due to the social distancing measures introduced when McDonald's first reopened.
McDonald's is now getting ready to reintroduce menu favourites which it had to cut when it first reopened.
In an update, CEO Paul Pomroy confirmed favourites such as the Mayo Chicken, Bacon Double Cheeseburger and milkshakes will return. to menus on Wednesday, July 8.
Mr Pomroy also revealed the breakfast menu will return to 1,000 McDonald's restaurants around the country on the same day.
Regarding breakfast, Mr Pomroy wrote: "This will still be a limited menu, for now - no bagels, wraps or porridge, but as with the main menu, we’re working on returning popular missing items later in the year.
"Hours will continue to vary and many restaurants will be opening slightly later than usual for now."
Takeaway services will be rolled out to 800 stores between Friday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 8, including at restaurants with existing reopened drive-thru lanes and delivery services.
But it will be a while yet before customers will be able to eat their Big Macs while sat at a McDonald's table.
Mr Pomroy added: "Of course, we still aren’t fully back to normal, we aren’t ready to enable dine-in just yet and we know there are a few favourites still missing from the menu.
"We’re working on it, but will only do so safely, when the time is right. In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you again soon."
