McDonald's fans in Ayr were left disappointed today when the fast food's drive thru failed to reopen.
The hatches stayed closed at the Whitletts Road branch - as hundreds of other outlets across the UK started trading again.
Hungry customers have been waiting for months to get their hands on Big Macs again.
In Irvine - at the Riverway Retail Park and Stevenston Hawkhill Retail Park - two branches have reopened for takeaways.
However, it is expected that the Ayr branch will reopen at some stage this week.
When outlets do reopen, they will operate a reduced menu with customers limited to orders of £25.
