McDonald's pancakes reduced to just 99p for Shrove Tuesday

McDonald's has announced a change to the breakfast menu this week.

Today [Tuesday, February 16] marks Shrove Tuesday and the fast-food chain will be selling its famous pancakes for less to mark the occasion.

The restaurant's Pancakes and Syrup option will be available during breakfast hours as usual, which are from 5am and 11am daily, but they will cost just 99p per portion. Last year the pancakes were available all day.

It means customers who don't fancy getting themselves and their kitchen counters covered in batter can order instead from their local McDonald's branch for £1.50 less.

McDonald's Pancakes and Syrup are usually priced at £2.49, although it can vary depending on the restaurant.

And while McDonald's restaurants are currently closed for dine-in and walk-in takeaway, customers can still order via the Drive-thru, McDelivery and Click & Serve using the My McDonald's App.
