Everybody roll up, because McDonald's Monopoly has made its long-awaited return to the restaurant in 2022.
There are some belters of prizes on offer this year, including a MINI electric car, reports the Daily Record. The global fast-food chain is back on its prize business with a bang, and 2022 is set to be the biggest version ever.
McDonald's Monopoly is set to run for six weeks this year, ending on Tuesday, October 18 2022. It gives fast-food fans the opportunity to win some 'free' food, a cheeky gift card or two, and even more extravagant prizes.

And this year, the new "double peel" feature gives participants the chance to win even more. Not a bad pay-out for a cheeseburger, right?
So, here is all you need to know about this years run of McDonald's Monopoly, and how to win.
How does the Monopoly competition work?
Launching back in 2005, the McDonald's version of a popular board game is simple enough for everyone to participate in.
Customers can collect game pieces on select hot and cold orders they purchase which can then be used to win some free prizes.
You peel back the stickers from the food and drinks products, to reveal prizes. These include instant wins, which can be redeemed in store for items like cheeseburgers, McFlurry's, chips or a wrap.
Game pieces can be cashed in via the counter, touch screen services or in the My McDonald's app with the 12-digit code located on the sticker.

How do I collect my prize?
There is a plethora of ways you can redeem your Monopoly prize this year. Instant win prizes can be collected via any UK McDonald's branch.
They can be cashed in at the touch screen kiosks too. However, for the more extravagant prizes, these need to be redeemed online as they aren't stocked at the stores.
Imagine picking up a MINI electric car from your local Maccies? What a world we live in.
Personal details may be required for these larger prizes, such as:

- telephone number
- address
- full name
You will then be asked your preferred method of receiving said prize, which can be sent via an email voucher or in the post.
How do I boost my chances of winning?
It may be a game of luck, but there are ways to boost your chance of winning prizes. One trick will be to use the game's brand new 'double peel' feature on the McDonald's App.
You can get a bonus 'digital peel' for free when you scan your physical property stickers into the McDonald's app – giving you more chances to win.
Customers who are signed up to My McDonald's Rewards Scheme will also be sent out a free 'digital double peel', which will be sent to their email address.
McDonald's Monopoly is available in stores from today until Tuesday, October 18.
