McDonald's finally put fans in Liverpool out of their misery today and reopened a number of branches in the city and across Merseyside.
Aintree, Switch Island and its Formby drive-thrus are now open with more due to open tomorrow too. Across Merseyside Prescot and St Helens also saw a number of McDonald's reopen.
Unsurprisingly, demand was huge for all branches which reopened today with massive queues which brought retail parks to a standstill as car parks became gridlocked.
At the moment no restaurants are open for customer to walk-in, with only drive-thrus operating or customers can order via UberEats too.

There is also a limited menu with no shakes or wraps available. You can find the reduced menu and exactly what you can order here.
Some fans have been left wondering if McDonald's prices will changes, but we can confirm all prices will remain the same and there will be no price increase due to the reduced menu.
This means for example, a large Big Mac meal will cost you £5.29 and a double cheese burger will cost you £1.59.
