McDonald's have made the iconic Big Mac bigger and better but Irish fans will only have a few short weeks to get their hands on the gigantic burger.
For the next eight weeks, customers across Ireland will be able to enjoy the Grand Big Mac, an upgraded version of the classic burger which is larger and available with bacon.
The massive burger returning thanks to popular demand after being on the menu twice before.
While this isn't the first time the burger has made an appearance, the announcement comes with a twist.
For the first time ever, customers will be able to order extra portions of the Big Mac special sauce. These 50ml pots will be available for only 50c from February 12, with a limited number available to customers on a first come, first served basis.
Thomas O’Neill, Head of Food Marketing at McDonald's UK and Ireland, said: “As our most iconic McDonald’s product, we are excited to be bringing back this twist on our classic Big Mac, so fans can spend longer with the taste they love this Winter.
"It’s a firm favourite among our customers and we are delighted to bring it back once more for a limited time."
Thomas noted the positive response to the pots of Big Mac special sauce.
"The reaction to the news of our forthcoming limited run of Big Mac special sauce dipping pots has been fantastic.
"We are working hard to produce as much as we can before the launch in a few weeks in order to give as many people as possible the chance to enjoy Big Mac Special Sauce with all of their favourite menu items.”
