McDonald's now offers table service at its UK restaurants.
The burger chain has added table numbers, which customers can order to by using the My McDonald's app . McDonald's says the app is also useful for customers who want to customise Maccies' menu, while new users can get a free cheeseburger.
To mark the launch of table service, McDonald's has teamed up with magician Julius Dein, TV stars Alex Bowen and Olivia Bowen Buckland and football YouTuber Manny John Brown, to make a video celebrating the 'magic' of the Maccies app.
McDonald's says: "With table service, meal customisation, and even a free cheeseburger for first-time users, the app offers bespoke touches for a bit of daily magic.
"For all of those pickle out people, cravers of extra cheese or lettuce-free lovers, the My McDonald’s App will cater to all requests, personalising a McDonald’s order perfectly to each palette. Not only that, but with a swift swipe of a screen and the brand new addition of the restaurant table number, customers will have food delivered directly to their table for the ultimate McDonald’s in-restaurant experience."
