If you're a big fan of burgers and always up for trying something new, there's a new one available at McDonald's but you've only got until the end of the month to try it.
Tried something from McDonald's Great Tastes of America range before? Well there's a newcomer to the pack, in the same week Maccy D's introduced cucumber sticks to their Happy Meals.
Say hello to the £4.39 Mississippi Stack - made with two 100% British and Irish beef burgers with bacon, mild cheddar, tomato and onion relish, Smokehouse BBQ sauce, red onion and lettuce in a toasted ciabatta style bun.
And that’s not all, the new Alabama Chicken with a smoky BBQ mayo, which launched on May 1 is still on sale for another two weeks too!
Michelle Graham-Clare, Marketing Director at McDonald’s UK & Ireland, said : “We know customers are always on the look-out for new twists to our much-loved burgers. The Great Tastes of America range really hit the spot last time with their tasty ingredients, but we wanted to bring an even more totally unforgettable experience to them on this occasion.
"By bringing new flavours and variations together with familiar favourites, we hope our customers love these great tastes of the United States… which are only available in the UK and Ireland - sorry America!”
The McDonald's Great Tastes of America range in full includes:
- Alabama Chicken with a smoky BBQ mayo – taking flavours from the state where the skies are so blue, two crispy chicken pieces nestle next to bacon, cheese, crispy onions and seasonal lettuce with a white BBQ sauce and top and tailed in a cornbread style bun. Available until ay 28.
- Mississippi Stack with a rich & sticky BBQ sauce – grab a taste of the deep south with two 100% British and Irish beef burgers with bacon, mild cheddar, tomato and onion relish, Smokehouse BBQ sauce, red onion and lettuce in a toasted ciabatta style bun. Available until May 28.
- Nashville Chicken with a spicy ketchup – for a country taste this burger comprises of two pieces of succulent crispy chicken with a sweet and spicy sauce, smoky cheese, coleslaw, jalapenos and lettuce in a toasted cornbread bun. Available from May 29 – June 25
- South Carolina Stack with a Carolina Gold BBQ sauce – another favourite, this tasty burger is made with two 100% British and Irish beef burgers with bacon, smoky cheese, a sweet Carolina sauce, onions and lettuce in a corn bread style bun. Available from May 29 – June ``
- Kansas City Stack with a smoky steakhouse sauce – a long way from home, this burger comprises of two 100% British and Irish beef burgers with bacon, smoky cheese, crispy onions and lettuce with a Steakhouse BBQ sauce in a BBQ flavoured toasted bun. Available from June 12 - June 25.
