McDonald's limited edition Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets are finally going on sale today.
Eager fans have been waiting for the new menu item to officially appear in UK restaurants since it was announced before Christmas.
The Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets are a first for the chain and are available to order from your local UK branch from lunchtime today (30 December). But customers will only have six weeks to try them.
Made from chicken breast in a crispy Katsu Curry panko breadcrumb coating, the new McNuggets also come served with the chain's classic Sweet Curry dip.
The nuggets are available to order in boxes of six, nine or as a sharebox of 20.
The latest McNugget launch follows the chain's release of limited launch of spicy McNuggets in 2019. The hit menu item was developed from a recipe based on previous versions that had gone on sale in Asia and the US.
McDonald's has also confirmed it is also bringing back its popular Big Tasty burger for six weeks too. The hearty burger is made with British and Irish beef, gooey Emmental cheese and topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and the all important Big Tasty sauce. Diners also have the option to add bacon too and it will be available on its own or as part of a meal.
The limited edition nuggets and burger will be available long with a limited edition Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry.
The McFlurry, made from soft dairy ice cream with pieces of creamy Galaxy chocolate and a swirl of caramel sauce, is available in both mini and full sizes.
