McDonald's is back after closing in March due to the coronavirus crisis.
The fast-food chain has been delighting customers by offering Big Macs and Milkshakes once again through drive-thu and takeaway.
And now McDonald’s has reopened its dine in area, it will enable some restaurants to take part in the Chancellor’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
The scheme offers 50 per cent off dine-in bills, up to £10 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August but there is a catch.
The offer, which was first discovered on the hotukdeals forum, is an eat out initiative and only applies to the dine in service so isn’t available for takeaway food or drive thru, reports The Mirror.
The offer also doesn’t apply when you order food to take home or use the Uber Eats or Just Eat app.
McDonald’s is preparing to share further details on its website and via the My McDonald’s app regarding which restaurants are taking part ahead of the scheme launching.
However, what we do know is that when it comes to the scheme and participating establishments there's no limit as to how many times you can get 50 per cent off your food.
Customers can use the discounts as many times as they like, as long as it's on orders made on Monday through to Wednesday in August when the scheme launches.
This means you can have half price breakfast, lunch and dinner three days a week if you wanted to.
It can also be used on top of other discounts - this includes two for one meal deals. As a result, your final bill be even cheaper and perfect for those who are looking to dine out on a budget.
