McDonald's is removing three popular items from its menu this month

McDonald’s is scrapping several items from its menu this month and cheese fans won’t be happy.

Three popular items are set to disappear from McDonald’s menus across the UK on Tuesday, January 28, reports the Mirror .

Fans of the fast food chain will have to be quick too, as once they’re gone, they’re gone - McDonald’s won’t be restocking the items even if they’re sold out ahead of January 28.

Which dishes are being removed?

The coveted cheese melt dippers, which reappeared at McDonald’s just before Christmas, are set to be removed, along with spicy chicken nuggets and the Big Tasty.

Customers can still get their hands on cheese dippers -  £1.49 for four or £4.40 for a box of 12 - but they’ll soon be gone with less than two weeks to go.

Spicy chicken nuggets returned to the menu briefly this month, arriving on January 2, while the Big Tasty was a temporary Christmas menu addition.

All three items will be removed from the McDonald’s menu on January 28, 2020.
