McDonald's is making a major change to menu from next week

McDonald’s is making a major change to its saver menu from next week.

The move follows a trial of the even-bigger-burger that sent fans into raptures.

From next week, fans of the fast food chain will be able to order a triple cheeseburger from the saver menu.

Find out which of your local restaurants are taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme:

In a statement, the chain said: "Following a successful trial period earlier this year, the Triple Cheeseburger will now officially join the Saver Menu as a permanent addition from Wednesday 2 September.”

The burger will be priced from £2.19, reports the Mirror .

McDonald’s customers in Yorkshire were among the first to try the new offering when it was trialed across 60 restaurants in February.

Fans have immediately taken to social media to declare their love for the new menu option.

One fan described it as the "best burger ever," while another added "game changer".

A third commented: "I am ordering three, in advance, sorry to the guy on the grill."

This is the latest move to launch new menu options from the fast food giant, which has also seen the double quarter pounder tried out along with spicy nuggets last year.
