McDonald's is making a change to its £3.59 chicken nuggets

All McDonald's fans will know that chicken nuggets are one of the real OGs of the fast food chain.

For years the nuggets have been a staple of the McDonald's menu - with shareboxes proving particularly popular.

But every now and again, McDonald's mixes it up by offering a new twist on the classic chicken treat.

Previously we've seen spicy nuggets, which divided fans.

And now McDonald's has announced a new type of chicken nugget, and it could be its most controversial yet - the katsu curry nugget.

McDonald's says: "Hitting our restaurants on December 30, they are the tastiest way to wave goodbye to 2020 and start the new year as you mean to go on! If you want to try them then you'll have to be quick, as they're around for just six weeks.

"100% chicken breast meat in a crispy Katsu Curry panko breadcrumb coating, served with classic Sweet Curry dip."

The prices for the new nuggets are as follows:
