McDonald's is introducing two new McFlurry flavours - but some old classics are being scrapped

Brace yourselves McDonald's lovers because the fast food giant will soon be taking two of its popular McFlurry flavours off the menu for good.

But its not all bad news because they're being replaced by two new exciting flavours to tuck into.

Dairy Milk or Crunchie McFlurries fans should order as many as they can in the coming days as the two items will be disappearing off the menu later this month.

McDonald's is changing its core menu to make Smarties and Malteasers permanent features, which is great news but it does mean the old classics are being bumped off the list.

Many ice-cream lovers are devastated by the decision and took to social media to voice their views, reports the Mirro r.

Claire asked: Wait... "Oreo over crunchie? Sack who made this decision immediately"

While one Twitter user called Sewell threatened: "If they touch the crunchie one we riot."

But others were just excited about the new flavours.

Joel Summer wrote: "Bringing back the smarties. The petition finally worked."

Many used the opportunity to continue their campaign to bring back the sundaes, which were removed from the McDonald's menu last year.

Kandi posted: "Bring back the Sundaes instead!!!!

McDonald's announced the changed on  Twitter  this afternoon.

They posted a poll with the caption: "Our Core McFlurry line-up is changing on 26th June! Which flavour are you most excited about?"
