Fans of McDonald's cheeseburger can now enjoy their favourite fast food treat for free.
To get the offer, customers need to download the McDonald's app and create a new account which will then give you access to the freebie.
However thanks to users on money-saving website HotUkDeals , a way to still get the offer if you already have an account on the app has been revealed.
The trick will mean users who already have an account will not need to create multiple email addresses in order to get the free burger.
Essentially, as dots don't matter in the bit before the @ sign in a Gmail email address, simply say your email address is "johnsmith@gmail.com", and then any emails sent to the likes of john.smith@gmail.com, jo.hn.smith@gmail.com, j.o.h.ns.m.ith@gmail.com, john.s.m.it.h@gmail.com etc will all end up in your original "johnsmith@gmail.com" inbox. Genius.
The McDonald's app is available on both Apple and Android, and it will take a few minutes for the freebie deal to load on your phone once you're all set up.
Users have confirmed the hack works. McDonald's are yet to confirm how long the offer will run for so we'd suggest signing up now.
