McDonald's is giving away bacon rolls this morning

Fast food giant McDonald's is offering customers a free bacon roll this morning as part of its January incentive.

Throughout the month, McDonald's is giving away free food to those who download its app with previous offers including free fries, 99p Big Macs and more.

Today, the focus is on breakfast with the deal available to anyone who buys a hot drink, reports Mirror Online.

This means you can get a delicious breakfast sorted for just 89p if you go for an espresso.

Bacon rolls normally cost £2.89 - with your choice of ketchup or brown sauce - which means you're getting a massive saving.

Even if customers opt for the most expensive thing on the McCafe menu - the Millionaire's Latte - you're still saving close to £1 on the price of a bacon roll.

To get the deal you need to make sure you've downloaded the free McDonald's app , then order using it when in a branch or on your way to one - it's sadly not available when ordering on Uber Eats.

Ben Fox, McDonald's UK marketing director, said: "We’re excited to offer customers 24 deals over 23 days to brighten up the month of January.

"The daily deals are exclusively available through the My McDonald’s App, which also enables our customers to beat the queue, enjoy table service, customise orders and remember their favourite orders."

This deal will be available on Tuesday January 14 during breakfast hours, typically 00.01am until 11am.
