McDonald's is finally reopening its Liverpool sites today after keeping fans in the city waiting for weeks.
The fast food chain confirmed hundreds more branches across the country will reopen today and for the first time, Liverpool was not missing from its list.
Restaurants reopening in Liverpool for drive thru only include Aintree, Switch Island, Formby and more.
McDonald's aims to have 1,019 restaurants reopened by tomorrow (Thursday, June 4).
Since the announcement last week that McDonald’s would be reopening a further 975 drive-thrus across the country, fans have been anxiously waiting for the release of which stores would reopen - with yesterday's update disappointing fans in Merseyside who were waiting for their fix.
At reopened restaurants there will be a range of rules in place to ensure that things go smoothly and that staff and customers are safe, including contactless payments and face masks.
Each car will also be limited to one order of up to £25. It is worth remembering McDonald's sites will be operating under reduced hours with drive-thrus open from 11am-
More restaurants are expected to reopen on Thursday, June 4.
