McDonald's is bringing back another popular item - 13 years after it was last on menus

Another McDonald's favourite is making a return to menus across the country.

The fast food restaurant recently announced it will bring back two classic McFlurry flavours and now they're facilitating the return of a popular savoury item too.

This week, over ten years after it was originally featured on menus, the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese will be available again.

As of Wednesday (August 7) the burger will be back in McDonald's branches across the UK, The Star reports.

It will cost £4.29 on its own or £5.79 as part of a medium meal.

The burger will include two 100 per cent British and Irish beef burgers with cheese, tomato ketchup, mustard, slivered onions and pickles in a sesame seeded bun.

McDonald’s say the favourite was last on the menu 13 years ago in 2006.

However, if you want to get your hands on one you’ll have to be quick, as the new product will only be available for seven weeks.
