McDonald’s is adding six items to its menu tomorrow and bringing back Monopoly game

Fans of the fast food chain will be delighted to know that McDonald’s is bringing back six items to its menu from 24th March, including

The limited edition items will include The Big Tasty, The Big Tasty with bacon, Chicken BBQ Smokehouse, Cadbury Caramel McFlurry and the popular Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry. Mozzarella Dippers will also be staying around for a bit longer following fans outrage at them potentially being axed from menus.

All the limited-edition items will be on the McDonald's menu from 24th March until 5th May.

When the food chain took the Big Tasty off the menu earlier this year, fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment with one user saying: “Big Tasty is why I used to visit McDonald’s.”

Another fumed: “They’ve also taken the Big Tasty away again which is devastating.”

But customers can get excited again as the limited-edition burger made with 100% British and Irish beef will be available with or without bacon for the next six weeks.

Ice cream lovers will also be delighted to know that the much-loved Creme Egg McFlurry is back - just in time for the Easter holidays.

The limited-edition McFlurry consists of McDonald’s vanilla soft serve ice cream drizzled with fondant sauce and sprinkled with Cadbury chocolate, so it’s no wonder why foodies on social media are so excited by the news.

McDonald’s restaurants are currently closed for eat-in diners but the fast food chain has started allowing walk in takeaways once again. Check if you're able to take away from your nearest restaurant by using the McDonald's restaurant locator tool.

Customers can also still order for home delivery via Just Eat or Uber Eats, or through a McDonald's drive-thru.

McDonald's six new menu items:

  • Big Tasty with Bacon, from £4.99

  • Big Tasty without Bacon, from £4.59

  • Chicken BBQ Smokehouse, from £4.69

  • Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry, from 99p

  • Mozzarella Dippers, from £1.89

  • Cadbury Caramel McFlurry, from 99p

You’ll also be able to try your luck as McDonald’s has also confirmed the return of its popular Monopoly game this summer too. The burger chain announced the exciting news on its official Twitter account – sending foodies into a tailspin.

The game was supposed to happen in 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic meant that the Monopoly game was stopped for the year.

So, it’s a real win that we’ll be able to bag everything from free food to big ticket items once again.

On Twitter, McDonald’s UK said: "The news you've all been waiting for...Monopoly returns Summer 2021."

In addition to this, McDonald’s is giving customers 30% off absolutely everything for two weeks from today when they order through its app.

The deal includes all items on the menu, from Big Macs and milkshakes and quarter pounders and McFlurrys.

To get the deal , you’ll need to download the My McDonald’s app - this is free to do on the App Store or Google Play.

You’ll then need to click on the 30% off voucher in the “deals” section of the app - and the discount will automatically be applied when you pay.

The deal sadly doesn’t apply to delivery orders placed through Just Eat or Uber Eats, or nuggets which are ordered from a till inside McDonald’s.
