McDonald’s is removing five popular items from its menu this week as it makes room for more limited-edition items.
This week marks the latest rotation of the 'limited time only' options added back in May.
All the latest items dropping off the fast-food chain’s menu next week were introduced for a limited six-week period on May 5.
Stores in the UK are set to remove the items next Tuesday with Irish stores expected to follow suit.
The items being removed from the menu are the Bacon Clubhouse Double (€6), the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry (€2.50), the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry (€2.50), and the famous Cheese and Herb melts (€2.60).
The Chicken Deluxe will also be withdrawn from the menu on Tuesday.
Some people may not even remember this item as it has already been off the menu for several weeks due to a shortage of ingredients.
The shortage of the popular chicken has meant Chicken Selects and the Big Flavour Wraps are also off the menu at the moment.
McDonald's fans were left devastated as the chain ran out of the tasty strips of chicken breast coated in their trademark crispy seasoning.
A McDonald's spokesperson said: “Unfortunately we have a temporary shortage of Chicken Selects and our restaurants may run out this week.
"We are working incredibly hard to get this popular menu item back on sale in our restaurants.
"We know some customers will be disappointed to hear this news, and we would like to apologise for the short term inconvenience.”
McDonald’s has also launched their new daily deals promotion that offers customers special offers throughout the week.
From today you can get your hands on a Big Mac for just €2 by using the McDonald's app, and more deals are set to be revealed.
These promotions are only available on the McDonald’s app and won’t appear on Just Eat or UberEats.
