Today McDonald's will reopen 15 stores in the UK, as the fast food chain launches a test scheme to see if it can safely provide food to customers while ensuring social distancing measures are met in kitchens.
At the minute, only stores in the South of England will be opening, and customers will only be able to get their Maccies fix by ordering through UberEats.
However, to help limit orders and to keep staff safe, McDonald's has introduced a limited menu, which does not include some of its most iconic items, like Chicken Legends, milkshakes and Maccies breakfasts.
And now McDonald's has introduced a new menu rule, which means that shoppers can only order up to £25-worth of food.
The order limit applies to orders for delivery, and will also apply when 30 drive-thrus open in the UK next week.
Speaking about the new pilot scheme, a McDonald's spokesperson said: "During our pilot phases while we test our new safety procedures, we will temporarily limit order sizes to allow us to meet customer demand as we will operate with fewer employees in our kitchens to enable social distancing."

McDonald's is yet to confirm which drive-thrus will be opening next week.
